Terms and Conditions for YAQATAR SALES ACTIVATION

1. These are the terms and conditions for YAQATAR SALES ACTIVATION (“Campaign”) as conducted by MultiChoice Nigeria Limited, directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives ("MultiChoice"). By participating in the Campaign, you agree that these “Terms and Conditions” will apply to your participation in the Campaign.
2. In the event of any conflict in terms between these terms and conditions and any other communication or marketing material, this document will take precedence.
3. This Campaign is open:
   3.1. 3.1. From 1 February - 31 March 2023 as announced by MultiChoice (“Validity Period”);
   and
   3.2. To Multichoice trade partners in Nigeria;
4. To be a participant –
   4.1. You need to purchase DStv/GOtv hardwares (decoders, dishes, Gotennas etc) within the Validity Period;
   4.2. Ensure that activations covering purchases in clause 4.1 are made by a subscriber within your distribution line. For instance, if a Mega Dealer supplies to a Super Dealer who then supplies to an M&P shop, any activation within that distribution line would deliver points to each party (Mega Dealer, Super Dealer, M&P) involved in the sale and activation of that decoder. Whereas points will accrue solely to a trade partner and its sales employee(s) where such activation is finalized solely by that trade partner and its employee(s);
   4.3. All activations must include the trade partner’s unique code to enable that trade partner earn points for the activation. Any activation without the trade partner’s unique code would not earn any point;
5. All trade partners involved (Mega dealers, Super dealers and M&Ps or as the case may be) for each activation (DStv or GOtv) get 60 points. For activations done on Compact Plus and Premium, there is an additional 20 and 40 points respectively.
6. Each trade partner has points threshold. You can ONLY use the points to redeem gift items when you have reached your threshold. You can also decide to leave the points to continue accumulating as you target gift items that may cost more points than your threshold
7. You can redeem gift items using the points you have accumulated from the portal: www.mcnpromo.com. Redeemed items will be delivered to your location within 5 working days.
8. Cash redemptions will have applicable taxes deductions made before payout.
9. All points on the portal would apply for the validity period but will expire a month thereafter.
10. This Campaign is not transferable and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item.
11. MultiChoice reserves the right to amend, postpone, suspend or temporarily withdraw the Campaign at any time if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so. In any of these events, notice will be communicated by us or in any other such manner as MultiChoice may at its discretion choose and such notice will be effective immediately or as at the date referred to in such notification.
12. MultiChoice does not make any representations or give any warranties, whether expressly or implicitly, as to the prize, and in particular, but without limitation, make no representations and give no warranty that the prize, or any aspect thereof, will meet your, or, if applicable, your requirements, preferences, standards or expectations.
13. MultiChoice does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant as a result of either attempting to participate in this Campaign.
14. The rule of construction that the Terms and Conditions will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Nigeria and will be interpreted against the party responsible for the drafting or preparation of this document and the Terms and Conditions will not apply.
15. MultiChoice may cede, assign or novate any or all of its rights and/or all of its obligations set out herein and/or in the Terms and Conditions to any person or entity without notice to you.
16. MultiChoice reserves the right to suspend or stop your participation in the Campaign if you are involved in fraud, misrepresentation or manipulation of the process.
17. The failure by MultiChoice to enforce any of the rights or provisions of the Campaign or the Terms and Conditions will not be deemed to be a waiver of such right or provision.
